My sister, Debbie, was diagnosed with MS while in her forties - in the mid-90s. Looking back, she had shown symptoms of the disease earlier. Within a few years of her diagnosis, she was affected enough by MS that she left her job at the US Postal Service and went on disability. I could see her decline as she moved from using a cane to a walker to a wheelchair.
